Reply:You should just wear them around inside the house for a few days, maybe a week every now and then until they loose up. That way if they still aren%26#039;t comfortable, you can take them back and say you never wore them and they will still be clean. Don%26#039;t try to loosen them up all in one day. I took a hike in my new boots and ended up getting huge blisters on both of my heels and not being able to walk properly in any kind of shoe for about 2 1/2 weeks, but now they fit perfect and were two small at the beginning. Wear them for short periods of time and they will start to fit right. Make sure you%26#039;re not wearing a thicker sock than what you had on at the shoe store, that could be a problem too.

If they are still too small, you can actually go to a shoe stretcher and get them stretched out a little if you want. They have a machine that will do it length and width wise, just make sure that if you are going to get it stretched length wise that there is no buckle on the front of the shoe cause it may wreck the boot.

Good Luck.
Reply:wear then in your home for a few days. If your feet are still sore after a week, take them back
Reply:Dont stretch leather boots very bad.. Buy new ones that are comfortable... In the long run it helps

What is the best way I can clean my ugg leather boots without ruining them?

I have a pair of light brown ugg boots, but I haven%26#039;t been able to clean them. The products that I have used to clean leather don%26#039;t really work. I%26#039;m not sure if there is a brand name that you%26#039;ve used that is really good to clean leather. Let me know!

Ugg cleaner is probably the best thing that you could use. I got my cleaner at Nordstroms and it works really good.

Can anyone help me find a pair of real leather boots?

I like knee high gothic looking boots but every pair I get has some kind of coating that peels off and why are they allowed to advertise them as leather boots. I have an old pair that laces up the front and zips on the side that is real leather but they are at least 13 years old and are just about shot so I only wear them once in awhile and it isn%26#039;t the leather that is shot just the souls. When I got them they were taller platforms but have practacly lost the platform look. While all the fake leather stuff lasts a year at most or until my dog steps on my foot and scratches that stupid coating

Can anyone help me find a pair of real leather boots?
Where in the world are you?

That question would be easy to answer if you were my next door neighbour.

London and Brighton.

How to remove cracks from leather boots?

The pair of leather boots is the usual National Police Cadet Corps cadets wear.

I have tried polishing with a thick layer of kiwi but the cracks doesn%26#039;t cover up. I need an answer as soon as possible or I have to purchase a new pair of boots.

How to remove cracks from leather boots?
Ok try this. Clean your boots thoroughly. Apply thick layer of kiwi polish to to boots. With a hairdryer on high heat, blow dry until outerlayer is dull and dry. Buff with soft cloth. If cracks are still prominent, apply another coat of polish, mist with a little water, dry with hairdryer until dry and dull. Buff with a soft cloth. (Avoid using a shoe buffer brush, as it will sweep the polish out of the cracks.
Reply:You can try to strip the old polish off using vodka or a rubbing alcohol; that will get you back to the base and you can try over. Make sure you save some vodka for yourself. For scuff marks, apply tooth paste with a damp cloth and then wipe it off after about 30 seconds. Make sure that any time you clean your boots, you let it dry slowly; high heat temperatures cause cracks as well. If nothing else, check with the manufacturer of your boots for a complete refurbishing. You may have to send in your shoes to the factory, but you’ll get back a pair of shoes that look almost new. Another suggestion is that good ol%26#039; military polish. Soak the Kiwi in hot water to soften up the polish. It will work into the leather better and apply it with a soft old tee shirt.
Reply:Go to one of those persons that polish your shoes
Reply:I know of nothing that will fill in the cracks and make it look good again. I dont think that there is such a product.
Reply:You can%26#039;t get rid of them, but if you use both kiwi shoe polish and parade wax you should be able to cover most of them up.
Reply:you can%26#039;t get rid of cracks...you need some new boots..
Reply:put boot polish on them to get rid of thoughs cracks and let them dry for a day or 2 before wearing them :)

Rubbing alcohol stain on brown leather boots??

I used rubbing alcohol on my brown leather boots %26amp; the alcohol seeped through and stained it. Now it has black spots on it and I need to wear it tomorrow. Help?!? I looked it up and they said it%26#039;s ok to use rubbing alcohol to clean boots. But not suggested. Anyways, I%26#039;m afraid to try anything now. Sigh.

Rubbing alcohol stain on brown leather boots??
It sounds as though you have the sort of leather that absorbs easily (could be a nubuck or aniline style leather). If it has soaked up the alcohol and left stains then there is nothing that will clean it out. You could try a nubuck cloth which will remove anything left on the surface but otherwise you will have to hope that it dissipates over time. Use a protector like waterstop to waterproof them and clen on a regular basis with a nubuck cloth and they should wear in gently.

Fetish fashion model (leather, boots, gloves)?

Hello to all, I was surfing on Internet and I have found this blog: http://glovesleatherandboots.blogspot.co...

I have read a post (the first one about searching a model for soft fetish fashion pics: gloves and boots wearing) and I thought: would you make the model for a set of pics of this kind? Let someone take pics of legs and shoes, without showing the face is not less embarrassing that to rest in intimate or making a calendar half-naked? Or to smoke a cigarette with the leather gloves? What do you think about?

Thx for the link...lol
Reply:I think its one%26#039;s personal opinion really.

We%26#039;ll you did say at the start %26quot;soft fetish%26quot; and that link is soft fetish.

Its nothing like SuicideGirls or GodsGirls or anything along the lines of that.

Sometimes models aren%26#039;t smoking. Its just to add %26quot;flavour%26quot; to the picture.

It all depends on one%26#039;s preference and opinion.

Hope it made sense

How can I soften the stiff leather on my boots?

I bought a pair of leather boots, but I need to soften the leather. Does anyone know how I can soften the leather without ruining the boots?

How can I soften the stiff leather on my boots?
leather cream....not saddle soap....but leather cream.
Reply:just wear them till they are broke in
Reply:mink oil, it comes in a can like a shoe polish in a solid form you use a rag to put it on
Reply:Wearing them alot...saddle soap...some people like to get the boots wet, and then let them dry while they are wearing them.

Why not call where you bought the boots, or talk to a boot-maker, and ask thier advice? Depending on the type of material...there may be different answers.
Reply:with my army boots i fill them up with very warm water. let them dit for about 30 min. then i wear them until they are dry. but army boots are very tough,
Reply:Wearing them is owten the best way. This sounds silly but I use it when I get new work boots. Put a plastic shopping bag over your sock before you put your boot on. It alows your foot to slip around a little and should reduce the chances of getting blisters.
Reply:well here in australia there is alot of leather and the country people use emu oil and rub it on their leather goods. It makes it shine and provides a protective coating while softening due to the qualities that it contains. I see they sell it all the time in the Royal Melbourne Show every september.

Can I alter my leather boots?

I bought some high heel leather cowgirl boots about a year ago. There are some shoe tailors around where I live. Does anyone know if it%26#039;s possible to have the boots altered to a lower height?

Can I alter my leather boots?
i think it may be possible but it may not look as good anymore. especially if the shoemaker that%26#039;s gonna be altering it isnt the one who actually sewed and made it.

if you looking to later it so it may be a bit more convenient, i%26#039;d recommend you buy a new one, say for spring time, and use the higher cut one for winter.

Do many places sell leather boots and jackets in Argentina in summer?

I know Argentina makes a lot of leather and i will be in BA and MdP over holidays. Will I be able to buy boots/jackets? Its winter where I am so I want to bring leather back, does anyone know if they will sell it in summer? Any particular store to recommend? Thanks!

Do many places sell leather boots and jackets in Argentina in summer?
Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!! No matter the season!

You have two main streets in capital federal (BA) to look around before buying, one is Santa Fe Av. (in Palermo, Recoleta neighbourhood)There are great shops but it%26#039;s rather expensive

Then you have Florida St, which is closer to Downtown, Florida is a pedestrian street, so no cars will bother you while you have a look :) It can get very busy in the week, but if you have time to have a look, visit different stores and search for the best price, quality is great in all the shops.

Then in Cordoba Av. there are lots of Outlets but I don%26#039;t know that place really

In Mar del Plata you%26#039;ll find great woollen clothes and %26#039;alfajores%26#039; (sweets)!!! yummy! :)

Enjoy your visit!
Reply:Flo,

Reply:I hear from my professor from Argentina that leather is very popular there year round so I think you will be ok.

How do I stretch leather on a pair of new boots too fit? It is 100% leather.?

I bought a pair of custom hand made 100% leather boots while on vacation in Medellin Colombia. The boots are beautiful and the craftsmanship is phenomenol. But I have a hard time trying to get them on/off. Is there a product that will help me out or do I have to stretch out leather the old fashion way with time and numerous blisters? Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thankyou in advance.

If you have a boot store in your town, then they should have a boot stretcher. It only takes a few minutes. You also might want to get your self a boot jack. I found one only line and they are very good at sending orders. I sent them a money order and in no time my order was here. Sorry don%26#039;t have the www.
