Hi, i just bought new leather boots and they are tight on my feet. I first took a bigger size but when i tried them on this morning they were very loose. So i changed them for a smaller size and when i tried them in the store they were tight but fine i could stand in them. Now they%26#039;re killing me!Could my feet be swollen? How to stretch them?

Reply:You should just wear them around inside the house for a few days, maybe a week every now and then until they loose up. That way if they still aren%26#039;t comfortable, you can take them back and say you never wore them and they will still be clean. Don%26#039;t try to loosen them up all in one day. I took a hike in my new boots and ended up getting huge blisters on both of my heels and not being able to walk properly in any kind of shoe for about 2 1/2 weeks, but now they fit perfect and were two small at the beginning. Wear them for short periods of time and they will start to fit right. Make sure you%26#039;re not wearing a thicker sock than what you had on at the shoe store, that could be a problem too.

If they are still too small, you can actually go to a shoe stretcher and get them stretched out a little if you want. They have a machine that will do it length and width wise, just make sure that if you are going to get it stretched length wise that there is no buckle on the front of the shoe cause it may wreck the boot.

Good Luck.
Reply:wear then in your home for a few days. If your feet are still sore after a week, take them back
Reply:Dont stretch leather boots very bad.. Buy new ones that are comfortable... In the long run it helps
